In 1999 we began holding a raffle and, at the Minority Scholarship fundraising breakfast, we gave away books and gift certificates to several lucky winners. This has been our annual practice ever since.
With each $40 donation to the Minority Breakfast Event, you receive 3 raffle tickets. You may also purchase raffle tickets separately for $10 each or three for $25. You need NOT be present to win; we'll notify you later. Anyone--departments, faculty, graduate students, university presses--can purchase tickets prior to the meeting by sending a check to the APA. Please specify on the raffle ticket where we should send your awards, should you win in absentia.

In the 2008 raffle we were able to increase the number of recipients to five.
